A 260 seater Calicut planetarium is equipped with CARL ZEISS RFP DP2 Spacemaster projector and numerous special effect projectors. With there equipment it is possible to simulate the sky of any place at any point of time.
Star studded night sky allured the man from the dawn of civilization.He
gazed at it with awe and wonder and strived to find his place in the midst
of celestial bodies. He closely observed the movement of the planets and
stars and there by developed the calender system.
